In California each county is pretty simular, set up in three sections each. You have "the county of" "the city of" and all private municiiples cities. Most unicorparted land is covered by either the county itself. There are a number of smaller towns that our not considered municipals and do not have their own fire stations, they are covered by Cal Fire.
