Board Member Denise Fleck is an Pet Safety Instructor, Product creator, Award Winning Author and voted one of the Top Women in the Pet Industry in 2014! Her newest book, "Don't Judge a Book by its Cover" tells the tale of looking beyond the pretty coated exterior to find the true beauty underneath. A lesson in how to treat others through learning how to pick a pet!
We are so proud of Denise for bringing to light how much good there is a shelter pet! This organization is named after Emma Zen, a shelter survivor herself. And look how far she went!
As a nonprofit we are looking for funding in increments of $500.00 to be able to supply school with the education tool needed for our youth to learn more about pets in shelters. Our pets futures depend on knowledge of our youth, they are the up and coming. We here at the Emma Zen Foundation would like to make sure they are set on the right track! Denise Fleck is also a ROP instructor with the Burbank District her experience in the scholastic arena will aid in our ability to distribute.
