TEAM Aid / Pet First Aid Campaign
The Emma Zen Foundation is TEAMing up with Sunny-Dog Ink, to raise enough funds to supply each team member of the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation with pet first aid kits. Assuring that the dogs that put their lives at stake to save ours can stay safe and healthy themselves. These human/dog teams are deployed during every US and International disaster. They utilize their time and lives to save ours. We will be providing equipment and training for them to help their own canines during search and rescue deployments. Assuring that the dogs that put their lives at stake to save ours can stay safe and healthy themselves. Maintaining the safety of their own K9’s allows them to continue to fight for the life of victims of national disaster and to stay on the scene in many cases. The safety of their animals and themselves can be the difference between life and death of survivors. The National Disaster Search & Rescue Foundation has assisted in every major disaster in our nation since 1996 and since then the specifically trained canines that have been used to find human life leave a legacy and a success rate that speaks for itself.
This TEAM is very close to our hearts as two of our board members are Pet First Aid & CPR Instructors. While we will be pursuing a single grant to fund this project you can donate a kit and help us meet our goal. This project has a projected target of $17,500.00 to supply 100 pet first aid kit to each team member of the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation.
For more information on funding this project please "Contact" us. Thank you for helping us find a way to better assist those that aid in saving human lives!
