Met Cindy, our Presidents tuxedo cat she adopted in the summer of 2013. She went there for a kitten because her husband had never lived with one and you all know how entertaining they are. Then she read Cindy's profile card, "Hi my name is Cindy I came to the shelter 3 months ago with a tag on showing my name. I am approximately 7 years old. Female / Spayed. I am very gentle and loving. I was confiscated. For more information please ask in office" So we asked, turned out Cindy was found in an apartment, her owner deceased and hadn't eaten in at least a few days. With no emergency plan Cindy's only choice was the local shelter. I do not want this happening to my pets, I am sure you feel the same! Cindy was adopted from a kill shelter who kept her for 3 months (unheard of) because they all felt so bad about her story. Today she is a fat, happy and over loved pet! (If there's such a thing.) You can learn more about Cindy by following the tails (I mean tales) of the Zen Zoo!
