Standardization vs. Donation
What makes us different? We are about "Standardization" vs. donation. Standardization is the process of establishing standards. In regards to equipment location on a piece or pieces of fire fighting apparatus, it simply means; "having the same piece of equipment, in the same place, on every like vehicle".
Our fire fighters and other first responders don't waist time in the field, one of the aspects that allow them to function so efficiently is that they are trained "where" to find their equipment. So many organizations even though they may be able to accept a donation of Pet Oxygen Masks, they may not be able to actuality put it into the field. Example: You donate one pet oxygen mask kit to a station that has three engines, where do they place that kit? If you donate three pet oxygen masks, you have answered to their standards and the life saving equipment can be placed on their apparatus.
The other factor to standardizing any piece of equipment is training. All kits come with a training video that has been produced by a Pet First Aid & CPR instructor.
This is what makes us different. While it may seem at times we go the long way about it, when we are done with your city you can rest assure that your fire department really does carry this equipment and that they know where it is located on their vehicles and how to properly use it!
This is what sets us apart, we make sure that the number of kits sent to your local emergency services associate with the number of front line vehicles within that department. Our "In honor of" programs allows us help build our general funds to assist in standardization and certification is sent with each kit showing the names of recipients responsible for funding!
